Alright.

Getting back into the rhythm of blogging. It's been a while, and I miss it.

A small bit of interest here in LA, they are converting all of the Savon drugstores to CVS. I have ranted and raved before about how much I hated Rite Aid. Well, I have the same passion in the other direction for CVS. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, them, and yes, Simone, I would marry them if I could.

I went into my first one last week- the Savon at Yucca and Cahuenga in Hollywood was a bit downtrodden, but in an excellent location right by the 101. Now? A glorious vision of Drugstoritude. Well lit, well labeled, and even the sort of homeless people who are the store clerks at that location seemed chipper and proud of the new store.

Halloween is tonight, and I plan on passing out candy to the kiddies, and even getting the fog machine up and running to give the front yard a bit of atmosphere. I'm a little worried about the crumbling front steps, but they don't seem to be any worse that the rest of the neighborhood's crumbling 100 year old cement steps and sidewalks. If you dress your four year old up and encourage him to beg for candy at strangers' houses, do you have any responsibility if your kid trips and falls? I'm sure you don't, if I have the light on like I want you to ring my bell. Note to self, no fog near the steps.

Oh my, how I do love the CVS.

I found ALL of the Charlie Brown Christmas figures there last week, and 3 of the 4 Halloween figures (can't seem to locate Lucy!)

CVS is my favorite store in the world. I especially love their headbands and clips selection.
