Steve has always said that our cat, Schmedly, likes to watch tv. I have never noticed it until this week. We finally got around to watching "The Station Agent," and Schmedly sat on my lap the entire movie, mesmerized. We realized that it was the combination of slow moving shots of lush, green landscapes and the loud outdoor sounds of birds, cicadas and trees whooshing in the wind.

Or maybe he just likes little people.

I finally have a nice link to my "Countess" interview with Simone Williams that appeared on Gram Ponante's site two weeks ago. There a few racy type pictures with the story, very artsy and beautiful. Tasteful in a "Playboy" kind of way. If you decide to check out the rest of Gram's site, it does get a bit more NSFW, but his writing is worth it. The text will crack you up. Gram is a comic genius!

Corsets a Go-Go!

I had a whole post planned about a bogus audition I went on today. Supposedly for a game show called, "Show Me What You Got" that was a "Deal or No Deal" kind of thing. When I get there, the 8 page application is clearly for a reality show of some sort, and I would be the mark. I actually torn the application up in the poor PA's face and stormed out. Hey, they wanted to see big emotion, and I gave it.

The big news? I just got off the phone with the Palos Verde Red Hatters and they are coming en masse to the show Friday night!!! Hilarious! Considering that in the last episode, Frannie macked the Captain again, decided to divorce her husband waiting back home, and left her sister Crystal Light hanging over the rail of the ship, ready to jump to her death. Hopefully, Frannie's next show will be just as exciting!

Hello cobwebs!

I'm so swamped, I just haven't had the creative time or energy for posting lately. The Countess did do a guest hosting stint on my pal Gram's blog, but until I can get a direct link to my entry, I'm not posting it here. Gram is in the adult industry, and his site is bit racy, NSFW as the kids say. You will be scrolling WAY down, and going past a whole lotta NSFW kind of material.

I'm home sick today, with the dregs of whatever knocked me down all weekend. Half of ACME was sick two weeks ago and Steve was sick last week. I thought I had made it through unscathed, until I found myself prone on the couch Sunday afternoon, whining "I don't feel good!"

That coupled with the bathroom situation at C*r**k Y*nk*rs (we're back for another mini season on MTV2) and by situation I mean there isn't one for quite a walking distance. Across a big parking lot, across a street, through a secured gate, and then past two sound stages. Usually I appreciate the walk, but...I think I'll sit today out, thanks.

Shows at ACME going great. Two weeks ago, I thought the Red Hat Ladies were going to serve me with a cease and desist notice. The PR woman at "hatquarters" could see their logo, which is the size of a nickel and blurry at best in person, on my name tag in the photo of my character on the ACME website. She told me they had to enlarge the jpeg quite a lot. I guess they finally decided that the "big" bucks of theater in LA wasn't worth the lawyer's fee. It took the wind out of my sails for promoting it anymore to the Red Hat Ladies, though. Screw 'em.

Heading out to the Out of Bounds Improv Fest in ten days or so. The Countess is literally in pieces all over my table, so being down for the count this weekend was not great. I'll have whatever time I can get this week in the evenings and this weekend to finish her up. She's getting new legs, new hands, a new bosom, and a whole new dress. She even has a snazzy straw hat for Austin!
