High-Fructose Corn Syrup Ad 2

here's the other one. my favorite part in both of them, is that the anti-HFCS person "can't remember" why the stuff is so bad.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think they were produced by The Onion and were parody ads. You can bet this just went into the comedy notebook!

Remember, raising corn is very heavily subsidized by the U.S. government. Hope you've read Michal Pallan's "In Defense of Food" and "The Omnivorures (sp) Dilemma." He gives you the REAL facts about high-frutose corn syrup.

So glad you caught this too! HFCS good for us? Why didn't I think of that. Does that mean I can eat cake for every meal now too? As you say, it's practically a salad! Any tv station that allows that kind of blantant bullshit on the airwaves is clearly on the crazy train!

YES! This is funny as hell.......... I learned about the "invasion" of HFCS from "FatLand," which also talks about the corn surplus in the 70's and Japanese technology that formulated this great tasty treat. It has an effect on cholesterol, arteries, etc, etc. Pass me the sugar bowl, please.
